Certainly this blog is not the first of its kind, nor the last, to be sure. However, it is the first blog I've written that involves books of any sort other than knitting pattern books. I think it very odd that I had never touched on the subject before now, but here I am, ready to dive head first off the landing into a pile of hard covers and leaves of paper (though not really, since it would probably hurt more than a little). Also, it is very near the first of January, 2012, hence the title of this post. I am more than sure by the time that this goes live, it will actually be the first of January, and several minutes more. In fact, I can hear the rumbling of fireworks rolling across the suburban sky as I type.
For now, I will say good night. Come tomorrow morning, I will most likely be heading out on a new adventure I've had in mind for quite sometime.
